About ANKUR

A young company with a clear vision

ANKUR Development was founded on the belief that building in the Algarve can be done differently: transparent processes, rigorous execution and a clear focus on what each client needs.

We work with people who want to build well, whether it is a new villa, a renovation or a larger development. The approach stays the same: one point of contact, our own teams and deadlines agreed in writing.

Talk to the team
Do you work across the whole Algarve?

Yes, from Aljezur to Vila Real de Santo António. Most of our projects are between Faro, Loulé and Olhão, where our own teams are based.

How long does a proposal take?

After the site visit, we send a detailed proposal with costs and schedule within five working days.

Do you handle design and permits?

Yes. We coordinate architecture and engineering with trusted partners and follow the process with the council until the permit is issued.

How is the construction timeline set?

The deadline is written into the contract, with a phased schedule. Any deviation is communicated before it happens, never after.

Can I follow the project remotely?

Yes. You receive a monthly report with photos and have one point of contact, in Portuguese or English. Many of our clients live abroad.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes, the guarantee set by law: 10 years for structural elements and 5 years for everything else. We also carry out preventive maintenance in the first months.
